Questions about official Grand County court dockets and case records belong with the clerk of the court that heard the case. District Court and Justice Court share a Moab address but keep different files and use different phone lines. This private resource cannot act on a case. The routes below identify where to ask for a docket, court date, public file, recording, or certified copy.

Need an Official Docket or Record?

Grand County requests should be routed by court and record type:

  • District Court files: Loni Page is the listed Clerk of Court; call 435-259-1349 for felony, Class A misdemeanor, civil, domestic, probate, judgment, or order records
  • Justice Court files: Emily Butterfield and Marsha Humphreys are the listed court clerks; call 435-259-1334 or email jcmoab@utcourts.gov for traffic, parking, infraction, Class B or C misdemeanor, ordinance, river-runner citation, and small-claims matters
  • Public case information: use the Grand County docket search routes, including Utah Courts Xchange
  • Dates and settings: check the court schedule, then confirm a changed or missing setting with the responsible clerk
  • Copies, audio, and transcripts: follow the court case records request process; District Court scanning and recording requests use moabscan@utcourts.gov

Both court counters are at 125 E. Center Street, Moab, UT 84532. Grand County Justice Court reported public hours of 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on business days in 2024; call before travel. The Grand County Clerk/Auditor is not the clerk of the courts and cannot supply these judicial records.
